Alex Schecter is an actor, singer, and writer originally from Long Island, NY. He is a proud graduate of Vanderbilt University and has also trained at The Neighborhood Playhouse, UCB, and Bob Krakower Studios.
Television and film highlights include A24’s Y2K, Blue Bloods (CBS), Final Moments (Oxygen/NBC), Dead of Winter (ID Discovery). Roomies (IG/TikTok), and several indie film projects. He is currently in pre-production for a social media series he created, Chase from Chase, and is the co-creator of Sunny Achers, a sitcom currently in the pitching process.
Alex has performed Off-Broadway and throughout New York City, as well as regionally. Some favorite credits include The Office Musical Parody at the Jerry Orbach Theatre, The Picher Project World Premiere at Dixon Place, Glory Ride at The Duke/New 42, Two Princes at Joe's Pub, Disney's The Little Mermaid (Prince Eric), Rocky Horror (Brad), and Mame (Patrick Dennis).
Alex has been lucky enough to work alongside Tony and Emmy Award winning performers, and at some of the country’s most renowned venues, including Lincoln Center, Sony Hall, Birdland, 54 Below, The St George Theater, and Westbury Music Fair. For video highlights, click here!
