Alex Schecter is an actor, singer, and writer originally from Long Island, NY. He is a proud proud graduate of Vanderbilt University's Blair School of Music, where he earned his Bachelor of Music degree.
Recent theatrical credits include the the World Premiere of The Picher Project at Dixon Place, the US Premiere of Anne Frank Off-Broadway at The Center For Jewish History, and The Office Musical Off-Broadway at the Jerry Orbach Theatre. This fall, he joined the Original Broadway Cast of Grand Hotel for their 35th Anniversary Reunion Concert.
Alex's television and film highlights include A24’s recent comedic thriller, Y2K, as roles in Blue Bloods (CBS), Final Moments (Oxygen/NBC), and Dead of Winter (ID Discovery). Alex has been lucky enough to work alongside Tony and Emmy Award winning performers, and at some of the country’s most renowned venues, including Lincoln Center, Sony Hall, Birdland, 54 Below, The St George Theater, and Westbury Music Fair.
