Alex Schecter is an actor, singer, voiceover performer, and writer originally from Long Island, NY. He is a proud graduate of Vanderbilt University's Blair School of Music, where he earned his Bachelor of Music degree. He has also trained at The Neighborhood Playhouse and UCB.

Television and film highlights include A24’s comedic thriller, Y2K, as well as roles in Blue Bloods (CBS), Final Moments (Oxygen/NBC), and Dead of Winter (ID Discovery). He is the proud co-creator of Sunny Achers, a sitcom currently in the pitching process.

Theatrical credits include the the World Premiere of The Picher Project at Dixon Place, the US Premiere of Anne Frank Off-Broadway at The Center For Jewish History, and The Office Musical Off-Broadway at the Jerry Orbach Theatre. 

Alex has been lucky enough to work alongside Tony and Emmy Award winning performers, and at some of the country’s most renowned venues, including Lincoln Center, Sony Hall, Birdland, 54 Below, The St George Theater, and Westbury Music Fair. In addition to theatre, television, and film, Alex regularly performs as a jazz soloist. For video highlights, click here!
